Resumen.Se presenta una estudio comparativo de la conocida teorí­a de los semigrupos C0 y la teorí­a de los semigrupos integrados. Se presentan también algunas contribuciones a la teoría estructural de los semigrupos usando propiedades de la aproximación extendida de Yosida.

Abstract. This paper presents a comparative study concerning the well known theory of C0-semigroups and the theory of once-integrated semigroups. We make some contributions to the structure theory of semigroups, by applying the properties of extended Yosida approximation.
