Resumen.En este artículo divulgativo presentamos una introducción al problema de la exponenciación cardinal y temas relacionados de teoría de conjuntos, enfatizando el papel de los cardinales singulares.
Abstract. In this expository paper we present an introduction to the problem of cardinal exponentiation and similar questions in Set Theory, with special emphasis in the role played by the Singular Cardinals Hypothesis.
