Resumen.En esta nota se da una descripción de los retículos distributivos simétricos libres en términos de retículos distributivos libres. De paso, se describen los coproductos de dichos retículos.

Abstract. In this note a description is given of the free symmetric distributive lattices in terms of the free bounded distributive lattices. As a byproduct, coproducts of such lattices are described.
